Stratalam has been engineered to the highest standards. It means the architectural community, engineers, government departments, local authorities and your own reputation are protected by international and locally based certification standards.
The Bureau Veritas
Each of the Stratalam manufacturing plants is subject to audits by the NZ Certification Board as well as the New Zealand arm of Bureau Veritas. Bureau Veritas is an international certification, conformity assessment, consulting and training organisation with a network that covers 140 countries and 700 offices and laboratories. It has over 23,000 employees and serves 280,000 customers like Stratalam . Its job is to audit and verify that Stratalam is produced to the highest international standard.
These audits include the processing, materials, staff training, reporting system, quality control systems, and product testing.
The Bureau audits Stratalam manufacturing plants every six months and has additional, unannounced inspections at irregular intervals.

Meets and exceeds important standards
In addition, Stratalam beams carry the ‘S’ mark of approval. They are produced from licensed lamination plants to the AS/NZS 1328.1.1998 standard.
Nearly all of the laminates are individually tested for strength (as recommended in AS/NZS 1328.2.1998)
The majority of Stratalam manufacturers use licensed finger jointers to the AS/NZS 1491.1996 standard.
All of this means you can specify Stratalam with confidence knowing it has met international certification standards.
