Hunters manufactures high specification glue-laminated structural beams for the building industry as well as appearance type products such as curved fascia, and benchtops. Curved portals for gymnasiums, swimming pools, churches and factories are Hunters' speciality but other products such as structural flooring, bridges, posts and wide finger-jointed products are our bread and butter.

PLANT

Our plant includes facilities, which enable us to control the material through all stages of manufacturing, including drying and treatment. We have specialised equipment, which enables us to manufacture products of high quality to our customer's complex specifications. We can provide off the shelf or custom designs to meet any requirement. Our manufacturing systems can cope with virtually any dimension requirements sought by our customers. On site facilities include Kiln drying, optimised defecting, planing, finger-jointing, laminating, and LOSP treating.

Hunters is a privately owned company which has been in business in Nelson since 1943. Its experienced staff have been involved in construction glue-laminated products for many unique projects all over the world. Hunters strengths are in the quality of its products, total in-house control of all manufacturing processes and the ability to make custom solutions possible.
